Summer schedule

Latest update: 6 April 2020 – 17:00 hrs. CET

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo skeleton summer network
Following the significant impact of the COVID-19 crisis situation on our flight operations, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will operate a reduced summer schedule. This summer schedule consists of our so-called ‘skeleton network’, operated by passenger aircraft and in combination with our regular full freighter network and trucking stations.

Besides these scheduled operations, we have full freighter aircraft, passenger aircraft and trucks available for charter operations.

This means that we introduce the possibility for charter operations now not only using full freighters, but also using belly holds of passenger aircraft.

For charter requests please send an email to our dedicated charter desk or to your local Sales representative.

Find below an overview of our ‘skeleton network’ operated by passenger aircraft for each area, followed by our full freighter network.

We show the current and the next week to maximize reliability.

For more specific flight details, also including our narrow-body belly and trucking network, please visit our schedule tool.

Corona situation - Questions & Answers

 Top

Q. Can I still call my local Customer Service contacts?

A. We prefer you use email to get in touch with your local Customer Service contacts. Or go to myCargo. The reason is that in many stations our staff works from home and face difficulties with handling phone calls.

Q. I need to ship Cargo to another destination, how can AFKLMP help me?

We might be able to arrange a charter flight and or truck for you. Please contact your local Customer Service or sales representative. You can also send an email to our dedicated Charter desk.

Q. Does Air France KLM Martinair Cargo invoice additional rental charges for containers?

A. Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will contact impacted customers to define a revised planning in order to prevent additional rental charges.

Q. What will happen in case of a flight cancellation with my already booked shipment?

A. In that case, we will do our utmost to rebook your shipment. Latest shipment status can be retrieved in myCargo.

Q. What is the impact on AF and KLM flights within Europe?

Some European flight and trucking destinations are cancelled or will be served with reduced frequencies. For latest status please check our schedule tool. If you have enough cargo to one of our regular trucking destinations, we can offer a chartered truck. Please contact your local sales or Customer Service.

Q. Can I still use Cargo Portal Service (CPS) for bookings?

A: Until further notice, CPS cannot be used for bookings on passenger flights; only bookings on Full Freighters can be made, including related truck segments.

The spreadsheet upload and booking template functions cannot be used for AFKLMP bookings for the time being.

E-Freight functions for MAWB/HAWB (submitting an FWB) remain available.

Q. What is the booking window for shipments?

A. All bookings for all flights can be booked upto 13 days again.

Q. Where can I find more information about Delta Cargo flight restrictions?

A. Click here to go to the Delta Cargo Alerts & News page.

Q. Are there any special policies regarding Specialized cargo like Live animals or Secure products?

A. Some products might be restricted because of the reduced network and limited possibilities at our handling facilities. On KLM all Live Animal (except Live Horses), Specialized Safe and Specialized Art products are restricted at this moment. On Air France these products are allowed but solutions might be limited depending on the origin and destination. Pharma and Fresh products are not restricted. The booking systems are up to date and for more detailed information you can contact your local AFKLMP cargo Customer Service office.

Q. Can I book Mail on the available network?

A. Most of the Mail allocations are maintained on the flights that operate. For more information, please contact customer.care.tracing.airmail@klmcargo.com.
