KLM and Philips establish cargo air bridge

Ever since the corona crisis has prompted an enormous need for the rapid transportation of medical equipment, KLM, Royal Philips and the Dutch government have created a special cargo air bridge between the Netherlands and China.

With a warm welcome from President-CEO of KLM Pieter Elbers and Minister Martin van Rijn (VWS), the first KLM Boeing 747 with medical supplies from Shanghai landed at Schiphol Airport this morning. By expanding the air bridge between the Netherlands and China, the Netherlands is assured of a continuous flow of relief supplies. Like to read more?
